During whale watching season, Nov thru April, you will a wonderful seat to enjoy the show! This is a lovingly upgraded and clean condo that sits 15′ to the shoreline.

Magnificent ocean views from this direct oceanfront condo that sits approximately 15 feet from the ocean! Whether you are couple on a private getaway or on a family vacation, you will feel right at home in this two bed\one bath condo. From your PRIVATE lanai, you can look across the Au’au channel to the islands of Molokai and Lanai. During the winter months (roughly mid-Nov – May) the view will include humpback whales that migrate to Hawaii for calving and mating annually! Turtles, spinner dolphins, rainbows and unforgettable Maui sunsets can be seen year-round.

The fully furnished kitchen includes stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, and a stove/oven. The GE refrigerator/freezer provides filtered water and an ice maker. The cabinets are stocked with utensils, dishes and cookware. You will also find smaller appliances in the kitchen such as a drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, mixer, and a slow cooker. This open floor plan, allows you to still mingle with one another, while having a beautiful view of the ocean, as you are preparing your meals.

The living area provides comfortable seating for all guests, along with a 50 inch Flat screen TV, a BLU-RAY DVD player; and a BLUETOOTH player, so you can play your own music. For your dining needs, the unit provides a dining room table for four. There is also a table outside on the lanai, so that you can enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon refreshment, along with 2 lounge chairs. There is a wall A/C unit in the living area and in the master bedroom to help with the days of no trade winds; along with ceiling fans in all of the rooms. In the lanai beach box, we stock miscellaneous beach gear such as beach towels, chairs and a cooler. If you have little ones, the unit provides the basics such as a high chair and pack-n-play. Upon your arrival, you will find a one-week supply of kitchen and bath supplies soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Other amenities include basic cable, Wi-Fi, and one free assigned parking space. There are coin-operated washers/dryers located on site, as well as a BBQ, swimming pool and sun deck.

Maui Sands is one of the first resorts built on Maui. The grounds are lush and tropical with mature plantings, ranging from mango to banana to hibiscus and plumeria. It sits in the local neighborhood of Honokowai, the kind of neighborhood where people wave and say “Aloha!” when passing on the street! Maui Sands is one of the last few properties here on the west side that still provides the feeling of a traditional Hawaiian property. If you are looking for a smaller property with less people, then this could be a great location. It has a very well-kept mature tropical garden and a shared freshwater pool.

Maui Sands Resort has 3.5 acres of tropical gardens with plenty of grass areas for children to play or curl up with a book under the mango tree! The property has a swimming pool, barbeque area and a coin-operated laundromat onsite. Just off to the side of the building are steps that lead directly to the ocean where you can enjoy many water activities such snorkeling, surfing, scuba diving, paddle boarding, or just simply sunbathing.
