PAKI MAUI

Paki Maui is a condo at 3615 Lower Honoapiilani Road in Honokowai, about six miles north of the town of Lahaina. The building was originally built and owned by Joseph Paki who was born in 1898 and grew up in this part of Maui. Paki Maui is built to take full advantage of Maui’s weather and invite the outdoors in boasting some of the strongest ocean view corridors in the West Maui area. The grounds are lush and tropical with mature plantings. Our shore has three volcanic reefs running parallel to the shoreline, providing a mini snorkeling/swimming channel 4-7’ deep, perfect for viewing our parade of turtle up close! The inside of the 1st reef is perfect for smaller kids to build sandcastles at low tide, and play in the water, as the reefs serve to protect our narrow stretch of sand from the rougher high tide surf. It is across the street from three places that are very convenient for carry-out food:  Honokowai Okazuya, The Fish Market, and a farmer’s market.
