Maui Nui Botanical Gardens, Piko: Ulana ʻIeʻie Workshop – Friday, July 5, 2024
In this workshop series, participants will focus on learning double weave interlocking wheft technique to create art of their own with Daniel Kahaʻialiʻi. Each class will have a different focus: piko, peʻahi, hīnaʻi, and ʻeke. This class will focus on piko.
Kulamalu Town Center, Upcountry Farmers Market – Saturday, July 6, 2024
The Upcountry Farmers Market is at the Kulamalu Town Center on Highway 37 near Long’s Drugs on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Vendors sell fresh locally grown organic produce including coconuts, macadamia nuts, fresh caught fish, tropical flowers, plants & trees, Maui-grown coffee, lilikoʻi butter, raw and vegan prepared foods, and exotic prepared foods such as Thai.

Whalers Village, Free Hula Class – Saturday, July 6, 2024
Join Whalers Village on Saturday, July 6th from 11am-12pm for their Papa Hula (Hula Class). Proclaimed as the “language of the heart” and “the heartbeat of the Hawaiian people” by King Kalākaua, hula is an art form. In this class you’ll be introduced to the basic footwork, learn how to position your hands to represent the words in an oli (chant) or mele (song), and discover the significance of this meaningful dance.

ProArts Playhouse, Anthony Pfluke Sunday, July 7, 2024
ProArts Playhouse welcomes Anthony Pfluke on Sunday, July 7th for an intimate show featuring original compositions by Anthony on slack key guitar, ‘ukulele, and grand piano. Anthony was born and raised on Maui and has been involved in many events around the island and elsewhere including the Concert for Our Lives at the MACC in 2018 as well as the Maui ‘Ukulele Festival, Fleetwood’s, and at many of Maui’s top resorts. He has quickly become a Maui’s rising star.

The Maui Butterfly Farm, Farm Tour – Select Your Date to Book
Visit Hawaii’s only walk-in butterfly flight house and learn about how they are trying to save Hawaii’s hugely declining butterfly population. This hands-on educational experience features caterpillars, chrysalis, and butterflies.
