Lahaina Restoration Foundation, Free Monthly Hawaiian Music Series – Thursday, Oct 24, 2024
A FREE monthly Hawaiian Music series will be on Thursday, Oct 24, 2024, at Lahaina Civic Center Amphitheater! This show features the Hawaiian trio band, Launa’ole, consisting of Brandon Hirata, Kason Gomes, and Koa Mattos. Free parking! 6pm-7:30pm bring your low-back chairs or blankets. It’s a beautiful setting for sunset in Lahaina!

Lahaina Cannery, Spooktacular Family Fun – Saturday, Oct 26, 2024
Lahaina Cannery Mall invites you for some SPOOKTACULAR FAMILY FUN on October 26th from 3-6PM. The annual Costume Contest for keiki is back! For ages 0-10 and your ‘ohana with a Grand Prize of Two Round-Trip Tickets to your choice of any Alaska Airlines destination in the US. Costume Contest will take place on the stage. Families may also enjoy complimentary balloon twisting and Halloween crafts as well as trick-or-treating through Lahaina Cannery. Lookout for the Wicked Witch and Glinda the Good Witch and take photos! Treat yourselves to some ghoulish Halloween Drinks for purchase by Hapa Hour Maui and other locally made treats!

Keiki per age category may trick-or-treat once that category is announced for costume contest. Age Category for Contest: 0-2, 3-5, 6-10, Family. Participants may enter one costume per category. Three winners per category with 1st, 2nd, 3rd place based on overall creativity with one Grand Prize winner sponsored by Alaska Airlines.

Maui Arts & Cultural Center, 17th Annual Maui ‘Ukulele Festival – Sunday, Oct 27, 2024
Enjoy a relaxed afternoon on the lawn at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center as acclaimed ‘ukulele musicians fill the air with island music! For those attending in person, the festival also features displays of made-in-Hawaii arts and crafts and ‘ono-licious island foods available for purchase. It’s a beautiful day for the whole family – visitors and residents alike, and best of all, admission is FREE!

Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum, Sugar Museum Tour – Tuesday, Oct 29, 2024
Take a historic tour of sugar plantation life on Maui on this tour. Tours are conducted at Alexander & Baldwin’s Sugar Museum and feature exhibits about the sugar plantation history during its 168 years on Maui and the waves of immigrant laborers who came to the Hawaiian Islands, including the Chinese, Japanese, Puerto Ricans, Portuguese, and Filipinos.
