A free community event featuring local food, cultural activities, inspiring speakers, interactive workshops, and more. Highlights include Keynote Speakers, Workshops & Demos, Mahiʻai Mākeke o ka Pō Friday Night Market, FREE Concert, Film Screening & Makahiki Games, Local Vendors, Free Tropical Fruit Tasting & Foundation Gala Fundraising Tickets Available for Purchase.
Whether you’re a farmer, food enthusiast, or supporter of sustainable agriculture, this event is not to be missed. Additionally support the event by attending the gala, and contributing locally harvested food for the Makahiki celebration. Sponsorship and in-kind donations are appreciated. The Upcountry Farmers Market is at the Kulamalu Town Center on Highway 37 near Long’s Drugs on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Vendors sell fresh locally grown organic produce including coconuts, macadamia nuts, freshly caught fish, tropical flowers, plants & trees, Maui-grown coffee, lilikoʻi butter, raw and vegan prepared foods, and exotic prepared foods such as Thai.
