Maui Gold Pineapple, Tuberose with Rose Lei Workshop – Thursday, May 9, 2024
Join floral design artist, Caitlyn Madrid, and learn to create a tuberose and rose single-strand lei. Just in time for Mother’s Day, participants will learn flower and string preparation, needle placement techniques, and pattern organization. Students will also learn the essential knot-tying skill of finishing off the lei. Class participants will leave with a beautiful, handmade, one-of-a-kind lei. This is a 2-hour class with all materials and instruction provided and private transportation to our event deck in the Maui Gold Pineapple farm featuring panoramic sunset and ocean views. BYOB plus complimentary water, pineapple water, mango pineapple iced tea.

Pacific Whale Foundation, Mālama Pono – Friday, May 10, 2024 Wailuku
Mālama Pono is a program that allows kamaʻāina, visitors, and PacWhale/ PWF staff to immerse themselves in Maui’s sacred ʻāina, culture, and community. Pacific Whale Foundation in partnership with Hawai’i Land Trust (HILT) offers a volunteer day where participants will help restore habitat by removing invasive plants, planting native species, working in loʻi (taro) patches, and more.Important gear to bring: reusable water bottle, hat, long pants, close-toed shoes, sunscreen. Lahaina Cannery Mall, Art Show – Friday, May 10, 2024
Lahaina Cannery Mall is open! On Friday, May 10th they are hosting an Art Show with the Lahaina Art Society featuring local Maui artists and demonstrations. Maui’s finest artisans and crafters will showcase their finest pieces between 9am and 4pm on the front lawn. Free entry and free parking.

Seabury Hall, Craft Fair – Saturday, May 11, 2024
Seabury Hall hosts its popular Craft Fair on Saturday, May 11, 2024, in Makawao from 9am – 3pm. The Craft Fair transforms the school’s upcountry campus into a bustling marketplace filled with Maui’s best artists, jewelers, and crafters, floral gifts, a silent auction, live music, food, and treats. The Craft Fair is the school’s largest fundraiser event, with proceeds going to financial aid programs. It will kick off with a parade through the campus by the Isle of Maui Pipe Band. Malika Dudley will be the MC at the Main Stage, alongside alumna Kit Okazaki! Admission is $10 for adults and children 12 and under are free. Free parking is available and premium parking is $20. The location is 480 Olinda Road, Makawao, Maui, Hawaii.
