This is a two-part workshop with Maui Grown 808. During Part 1 from 10:00am – 12:00pm, you will learn Hana Lei Kahiko or traditional Lei making (no needle or thread), using two common traditional methods, and flora that can be found in your backyard! A perfect time to craft and create, in a beautiful farm setting with a view.) During part 2 12:3 pm – 3:00pm you will learn how to weave coconut leaves into a flat basket carrier specially designed to hold your Lei that can be reused again and again for future special occasions!
